Privacy concerns

I have ordered a few things from the company store and things went ok but then I decided I didn’t want so many catalogs in my mailbox and contacted many companies to be removed from mailing lists. The company store is the only one who won’t honor my request. I’ve been trying for a year, multiple emails. I even moved, made the mistake of ordering something from them, told them I don’t want a catalog and they sent it any way. Sent my request to be removed and them received another catalog shortly after. They DO NOT Respect your privacy. They did not want to help. I just get the same blah blah answer.

Prompt and full refund, no shipping charge

I ordered two expensive down pillows from the company store. They didn't work out for me, not what I was looking for, I was able to return them for a full refund, no restocking fee no shipping charges. I'm very happy.

Accounting issues!

Serious accounting issues. I am receiving letters and emails claiming they shipped items but they never got paid 7 months ago. They are not providing declined charge issues. Since November, I gave ordered, paid for and received 3 more orders. I would never accept items not paid for. I can not get anyone to answer the phone. I have called the customer service multiple times, sent emails. Now I see they have lots of accounting issues! Never again will I purchase!

Heavy Shedding…Be Prepared.

Ordered three of their 100% cotton Green Earth bath rugs. They are decent, but be prepared as they shed like crazy. Followed washing instructions and cleaned dryer filter five times. Rugs look nice and are fairly non-slip on our new vinyl plank flooring. Likely won’t order from them again.

Poor products and difficult to get refunded

The quilt I ordered starting falling apart after 30 days. I called and they sent me a new one which I had to pay for. After I received the new one I returned the old one. They notified me that they received my return, but were only refunding me a portion of the original purchase price. I called them and after they tried to blame me for the problem they discovered that it was an issue on their end. They said that they were refunding me the remainder that was owed. After waiting two weeks for the additional refund to appear on my credit card I called them again to find out where it was. They discovered that they never issued the additional refund and said they would do it now. I had to spend way too much of my time to get the refund and I hope it happens this time.

I was charge $151 for a three year old…

I was charged $151 for a three year old charge. When I checked my records they had neglected to charge my card. My complaint is that they should have contacted me before charging the card. I liked their products but will no longer be a customer as they have completely lost my trust.

I have ordered from The Company Store…

I have ordered from The Company Store for years. Never again. A charge appeared on my credit card this week but I have no orders currently. I called customer service twice and after getting all sorts of “ I don’t knows and how odd”, I was told this was from an order almost 2 years ago that wasn’t charged. Now I have to go back and check my credit cards for the last 2 years to see if I was charged. Even crazier, the order they think this is for did not have the credit card on it that was charged this week. How can they charge a different card almost 2 years later without any notification? I was told someone from customer service would call me back but I am not holding my breath.
I would advise anyone to be cautious of giving them your credit card info.

Backorder headache!

I ordered 2 matching comforters in December. In July I received one and the notice that the other was backordered until next January. Unacceptable. They will not match and waiting a year for an order is also unacceptable.
I have bought comforters from them in the past and been very pleased. But now I'm very disappointed. I am returning the one they finally sent and taking my business elsewhere.

Downhill--- NOT THE SAME COMPANY STORE

Incompetent.
Double shipped after canceling one order that was mis-filled out by their sales person. Spent over an HOUR on phone correcting. Had confirmation emails that meant to them on their end and would have been double charged had I not called and demanded to get to higher level supervisor. They messed up an order 6 months ago and said I would be sent a coupon for $60. I was never sent that, but when i asked about it during this latest ordeal, I was told they had a RECORD of the $60. Coupon, but never told me that they could only " see" it from their end, so I then had to instruct the supervisor to apply it to the most recent purchase. They are hiring incompetent people. They are not being run at all. I keep telling myself, well, they apologized for the last mistake, but they have ALL been mistakes for 5 years now! This is it, for me. Do not keep back going to the Company Store you used to order from 10-15 years ago. They do not exist anymore.

It has been easy to get hold of customer service and eventually worked out multiple problems. Let me add, their were too many problems to continue doing business with the company.

Legitimate Business selling stylish bedding and home products. As a satisfied customer for over 25 years, I will shop elsewhere as the quality is now poor and cheaply made.

I have to agree about the idiotic buy your own label policy. Every other online retailer I have ever dealt with provides a return label. I have no problem with having the return postage deducted from my refund. I do have a problem having to stand in line at the post office to send it back.

A:

Not only that, but return labels are much cheaper than paying retail USPS charges. Never shopping there again.
